Google Apps for Education

How to set up your account:

STUDENTS
my.jordandistrict.org
Students, follow your teacher’s instructions and the following steps to get rolling with your new my.jordandistrict.org Google Apps account.
  1. Sign into my.jordandistrict.org http://goo.gl/oQIe8 (case sensitive) or go to oquirrhhillsmiddle.org under the Students tab.
    1. username: mmou4567 (Mickey Mouse with Student ID as 1234567)
    2. password: 1234567 (Reset to OHMS1234567)
  2. Go to a new browser tab
  3. Join appropriate group
    1. follow the link from teacher to join group
1st period: http://goo.gl/CcmSa

2nd period: http://goo.gl/FGa5Y

4th period: http://goo.gl/lQgjx

5th period: http://goo.gl/4v80O

6th period: http://goo.gl/Wx59v

7th period: http://goo.gl/G9GvW

8th period: http://goo.gl/SrHM9
      1. Click on the Join Group button

  1. Review Documents
    1. Create a new Document
    2. Title all Documents using the correct standard
      1. #-F.L.-Title
        1. (Example: Joshua Glenn in my 4th Period would title his document as 1-JG-Favorites)
      2. Write down three of your favoite things.
      3. Share it with your neighbor and teacher with “can comment” privileges
      4. comment on someone else’s document
  2. Review Email
    1. Send an email to your teacher
      1. subject line: test email
    2. send an email to a class member
    3. check your mail
  3. Sign Out
